Anonymous asked: heard u dnt like jeremy lin..how can u not when he's ASIAN! and raw. I guess u dnt knw the game of bball after all. oh and did i mention he's hella raw & ASIAN?! you're asian so u should support him to!

Uh,

Excuse me? lol. I’m not a fan because I’m just not a fan? I never denied that he is a good player, he is and he has hella potential to be the top players in the NBA in the future especially because he is still young. However, personally, I’m not in that whole “Lin-Hype” because I don’t support and root for PEOPLE just because they’re Asian like me. Honestly, I think this somehow connects to racism. Supporting someone only because they’re the same race as you so you don’t open room for other ethnicity (again, that’s just my opinion) . I don’t need to have a legitimate reason for not being a fan of him, it just does not click for me. It’s like Kobe there’s a lot of African American that does not like him but he’s HELLA RAW (I mean, cmon he’s a legend). I actually liked Yao because for his height he can shoot from considered tough areas for his height.

Plus, this makes it look like Asians who are raw in basketball are rate, but in truth there’s hella rawass asian bball players! It just happen to be a lot harder for asians to get into the NBA I guess.

Oh since this whole thing is starting to get annoying, sorry, maybe you don’t watch basketball for the game itself then. Because rooting for a player just because they’re the same race is not what bball is all about. But go ahead and do that, nobody’s stopping you.
